Source 2 Sea

Challenge description

Source 2 Sea is a 200 mile ultra marathon along the full length of the Trent Valley following the Trent Valley Way path. Runners will start near the source of the river Trent at the Trent Head and finish at the Humber estuary with a crossing of the iconic Humber bridge.

There will be mainly trail underfoot and you will be supported by checkpoints with water and snacks approximately every 25 miles, with drop bag access at 50, 100 and 150 miles.

You must carry:

Waterproof jacket.
Charged phone.
Probably trail shoes.
Capacity for carrying water, and a cup.
Money/card.

Time limit: around 60 hours TBA.
No outside support.
No sticks.
No headphones.
No pacers.
Shops and pubs are allowed.
Runners must make their own way to and from the event.
In the case of DNF, runners must arrange their own extraction.
Compulsory kit must be carried.
